Hannah is going to be 4 in just over 2 weeks (!!), and she has a more over-active imagination than ever. For hours (most of the hours of most days, in fact) she is Zeebeedeebee, King of the Zebras. She lives in Animal Magic Land, and rules the roost (kinda like in real life). So of course those closest to her all need their roles in this kingdom too. She takes this very seriously. Here are the members of the cast (some definitely deserve a giggle, although not in front of our King):
Papa - Buffy the buffalo
Gogo - Shelly the tortoise
Glen - Rhinoceros
Me - Gerald the giraffe
Oliver - Baby Elephant
Alistair - Hilda the hippo
Jackie - Waddly the penguin
Bronwyn - Slivery the "slivering" snake
Dave - Tigery the tiger
Since she has heard it a lot, Hannah loves to be told she is a genius, which when she was speaking in full sentences at 18months I really believe she might well be. Her mother is, after all ;) Ha!
When I told her that Auntie Lindsay (Liony, by the way) was having a baby and that Hannah would be the big cousin, Hannah jumped up and down clapping her hands and then said, "A big cousint! Mom, you're a genius!"
She gets me.

Hi Aunty Liony here! Must say I'm rather honoured to be the Liony, am sure it's all in the name! The picture of Hannah jumping up and down at the news of a cousin brings tears to my eyes, I want to pick her up and cuddle her!
ReplyDeleteHows the baby elephant doing? It must make a real thud when he falls off things as seems to happen FAR to often!
I will now, and forever sing along with the Zeebeedeebee song and (perhaps when no one is looking) pretend to dance around with the King!
